Voices for Children is an organization based out of Maryland with satellite operations in multiple states, Texas being one of them. Voices for children is a non profit organization designed to promote and train child abuse advocates. The organization enlist volunteers to train and advocate for abused children.

One issue that caught my attention is child abuse. The organization is designed to train advocates on how to engage and involve with abuse children while going through the court system. The extension program that works with Voices for Children is Casa. Casa is a program that volunteers sign for which allows them to become trained in advocating for these children. Voices for Children and CASA allow for these volunteers to engage, interact, monitor the progress of these children and submit them to the courts for review.
